Universities need to adopt resilient and versatile learning systems while maintaining high-quality standards of education – that was the consensus of speakers at the recent Temasek Foundation-NUS Programme for Leadership in University Management (TF-NUS PLUM) Southeast Asia Leaders’ Summit.
This year the TF-NUS PLUM was held again at National University of Singapore (NUS) on 8 – 10 November 2022 and themed Transformation of ASEAN higher education in the last decade and the way forward for the next decade. In the prestigious event, i-PUTRA Director is honoured to represent UPM on behalf of UPM’s Vice-Chancellor.
The objective of this Summit is to review how cooperation between ASEAN countries through higher education in the past decade has benefited regional growth. The university leaders' in consensus discussing together in plotting the needed strategies and ingredients for greater synergy in the next decade.
