COVID-19

Coronavirus disease 2019 or commonly known as COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. The Malaysian government has made massive efforts to contain the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country, including enforcing a Movement Control Order (MCO) that took effect beginning 18th March 2020.  The Covid-19 pandemic has grave effects on social and economic situations globally as currently more than 180 countries have reported cases of COVID-19. UPM also actively participates in Malaysia's efforts to mitigate the effect of the pandemic through its research and community engagement activities. This platform provides information related to COVID-19 for staff and students.
