[APPLICATION CLOSED] Staff Mobility under ERASMUS+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) @ Ataturk University, Turkey

Staff Mobility under ERASMUS+ International Credit Mobility (ICM)  @ Ataturk University, Turkey is now open for application. The information on the program can be found below.

 

1.    What is ERASMUS+ Program?

ERASMUS+ is grant under the European Union (EU) programme for education, training, youth and sports. More information on the grant can be found here

 

2.    Grant Target Candidate:

Staff Mobility for Teachers (STA)

The teaching staff member must be full time employed at Universiti Putra Malaysia for minimum 2 years while applying for the scholarship. Faculty members teaching in the following disciplines are eligible to apply for the scholarship. For your information, the selection priority for this grant will be given mainly to Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular  Sciemces,  and below are the areas involved :

 

1. Faculty of Agriculture (priority)

Field areas : Animal Science, Agricultural Biotechnology, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Machinery, Agricultural Structure And Irrigation, Agronomy, Engineering, Horticulture, Plant Protection, Soil Science
 
2. Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences

3.    Grant Information:

a.    Allowances        : (per diem amount)

       Training Staff    : 140 €/day

4.   Suggest Travelling Date:

The grant duration is valid until July 2023. Therefore, the travel preparation need to be arranged within the time period.

 

5.    Application Period:
 

Staff Mobility Nomination initiated 17 May 2022 (Tuesday)

Staff Mobility Application Deadline to i-PUTRA 23 June 2022 (Thursday)

Staff Mobility Evaluation Period (between i-PUTRA & PTJ): one week

Staff Mobility Application Deadline to CU 30 June 2022 (Thursday)

 
 
6.    Eligibility Requirement for staff mobility:
 

Teaching Staff

Teaching mobilities is an activity that allows teaching staff to teach in a partner HEI abroad. Mobility of teaching staff can occur in any common area of study/academic discipline and should last for a minimum period of five (5) days and involve at least eight (8) hours of teaching.

 
  
7.    Application Procedure for Staff Mobility:
 
Candidate are required to submit the following documents to the mobility coordinator of their respective faculties for an internal evaluation. Candidates are required to submit the following documents through google form. a) Passport details page.
 
b) Curriculum Vitae using the Europass Format.
 
c) Certificate of English Language Proficiency/ Letter of attestation from faculty regarding the participant’s English skills/Proof of English language proficiency (B2 or above)
 
d) Letter of Motivation/Statement of Purpose (maximum one page), explaining the reasons for the application, specific competences, academic interests, professional experience, commitment to return to the country of origin and benefits that the mobility grant will bring to the candidate and its context.
 

Only selected candidates’ application will be forwarded to the respective faculty at METU for further processing.

Selected candidates will be informed by i-PUTRA and then your inquiry of attachment will be  forwarded to the officer at the International Office in Ataturk University and Ataturk University will forward the email to the related departments.
