UPM Serdang, 8 & 9 February –New international students from various countries attended the New International Students Welcoming Program (NISWP) for semester 2, 2016/2017 academic session which was held at the Experimental Theatre, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) recently.
The two days program was carried out by the Putra International Centre with the help of 20 students called UPM’s BUDDIES assists in coordinating the program as well as mediation between international students and the UPM management.
In this program, students were also given an understanding of the administration system, management learning, exposure to cultural and campus environment which also were among the objectives of the programme. Various activities and programmes were structured specifically to foster a positive and optimistic mind in starting new learning sessions in campus.
The food was good. I really enjoyed the ice breaking session and I wished there was more of that. The Malacca trip was very fun and I have lots of friends from various countries already! – NAJWA SAMOH-UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT-SAUDI ARABIA.
