Monday, 4th July 2022 - A mobility program is one of the ways to internationalise our students and prepare them for a competitive global job market. Not only that, but it also develops better interpersonal and leadership skills. As a leading university, UPM's vision is to be an internationally reputed university through many initiatives. Thus to encourage, promote mobility programs and create awareness, i-PUTRA organized a talk session with Kolej Seri Rajang MPP and MPK on 4th July 2022 and gave a briefing on topics such as the importance of mobility programs, paperwork management in seeking funds, how to apply for mobility program, and being safe abroad. The 2 hours session was delivered by Prof. Suhaimi Ab Rahman (Director), Mdm Noraihan Noordin (Head), Ms Nadia Zawani Hussin (Head of Mobility) and Mr Razif Ab Razak (Head of Visa and Pass).

The talk began with an introduction to Putra International Center (i-Putra). We talked about the services that we offer and our function as a centre for all international students. We also discussed activities on mobility program whereby we have our summer program, Kuala Lumpur day tour program and student exchange program. Followed by an introduction to visa and pass at i-Putra such as VAL application for new student, visa renewal process and a brief detail of other visa process.
