(Academic Short-term Mobility Program)

The university's initiative to provide a broad platform to achieve excellent graduates should be
detailed and prioritized to provide holistic experience and education. Among the existing
initiatives is the organization of mobility programs among students under the auspices of
student-led organizations. Therefore, the mobility program is one of the significant programs to
be implemented among higher education institutions to further strengthen the confidence and
competitiveness of local graduates.

In living the life of the new norm due to the COVID-19 pandemic that is hitting our country since
2020, the mobility program abroad can finally be implemented by following the SOP and
agreement from both countries. Therefore, the College Representative Council, Kolej Tan Sri
Mustaffa Babjee for the 2022/2023 session has taken the initiative to organize the KMB Global
Outreach program. This program is held in the form of new norm mobility through collaboration
with Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta and Universitas Padjajaran, Bandung, Indonesia.
This program carries the theme of "Education Without Borders" with the objective of providing
opportunities for Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College students to gain exposure to education at an
international level with foreign institutions involved. At the same time, this program is expected
to produce students with international leadership and management skills.

In addition, this program is based on the concept of academic knowledge sharing where
students from Universiti Putra Malaysia will learn the learning and teaching methods provided
by Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta and Universitas Padjajaran, Bandung, Indonesia. In
addition, this program will also provide an opportunity for Universiti Putra Malaysia students to
exchange views on the customs, culture, race and traditions of Universitas Gadjah Mada and
Universitas Padjajaran.

On December 4, 2022 (Sunday), the first program was carried out together with Universitas
Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia where visit activities to the faculties of medicine
and social sciences were carried out as well as customs and cultural exchange sessions
between UPM and UGM students Muhammad Khalid, President of the UGM Student Executive Body said, "Taking this
opportunity, I am very pleased to represent UGM and we give high respect to this beneficial
collaboration program with Kolej Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee, UPM."

On December 8 and 9, 2022 (Thursday and Friday), the second program took place with
Padjajaran University (UNPAD), Bandung, Indonesia. This program takes the same concept as
that implemented at UGM, but there is an additional slot for volunteering activities that are
implemented at the Muhammadiyah Orphanage, Bandung where there are friendly sessions
and several other bonding activities with the orphans at the orphanage.

Alan David, Director of the KMB Global Outreach mobility program also said, "truly this program
would not have been carried out without the help of all parties, especially the members of the
executive committee who are committed to making this KMB Global Outreach international
collaboration a success."

"This program is organized to create our future graduates who are involved in
activities at an international level and create an intact network with students from overseas
institutions as well as providing a platform for sharing academic knowledge, volunteering
experiences, campus life and cultural activities that promote lifelong learning," argued Prof.
Associate Dr. Jasronita Jasni, Principal of Tan Sri Mustaffa Babjee College, UPM during the
program closing ceremony with UNPAD.

Also present at that time, Dr. Rosaria Mita Amalia, Head of Career Development, UNPAD also
said that she will also continue to support personality and community development programs at
the international level and will always welcome external collaborations in order to empower the
opportunities of our future graduates in achieving their desired careers.
He added that UNPAD also places great emphasis on producing graduates who are always
moving forward whether at the domestic or international level.

It is hoped that this KMB Global Outreach program will be able to achieve the goal of producing
outstanding students in terms of personality, academics and co-curricular in accordance with the
narrative of the Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia, where YBhg. Dato' Prof. Dr. Mohd.
Roslan Sulaiman called for Universiti Putra Malaysia to be able to produce students who are
good citizens, restore character and show devotion as well as intensify welfare initiatives with
collaboration at the international level. This can also indirectly produce competitive and
high-quality graduates to create a higher learning impact.
