2. Nasi Lemak Tanglin

Nasi Lemak Tanglin located at Jalan Cenderasari, near Kuala Lumpur Botanic Garden. The stall has been operating since 1948 and brings back memories of old timers. Nasi Lemak Tanglin, now run by the second generation Zainal Abidin Hassan, sticks to its family recipe that hasn’t changed for seven decades. Nasi Lemak Saleha has been in the business for over 30 years. The restaurant has been at the same spot in Kampung Pandan with the second branch in Sri Rampai. The nasi lemak is famous with sambal and rendang chicken. Sambal will goes perfectly well with its fluffy coconut rice. 

 

5. Nasi Lemak Wanjo

Nasi Lemak Wanjo is popular among urban citizen in Kuala Lumpur. Especially on weekend, people will cycle, jogging or walk around Kuala Lumpur and having Nasi Lemak for their breakfast. It might get overcrowded in the morning but the serving can be really fast as they have a lot of staff.

 

6. Big Tree Head Mamak

The nasi lemak place is well-kept secret among folks living in and around Kepong. The nasi lemak pretty decent - the regular condiment topped with fried egg. The crispy chicken is worth for guilty pleasure.
