ERASMUS+ KA107 International Credit Mobility @ L'Institut Agro Montpellier is now open for application. The information on the program can be found below.
1. What is ERASMUS+ Program?
ERASMUS+ is grant under the European Union (EU) programme for education, training, youth and sports. More information on the grant can be found here.
2. Grant Target Candidate:
UPM teaching or administrative staff to spend a teaching or training period at L’Institut Agro
The staff member must be full time employed at Universiti Putra Malaysia for minimum 2 years while applying for the scholarship. Faculty members teaching in the following disciplines are prioritized to apply for the scholarship
a) Faculty of Agriculture
b) Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (ITAFoS)
c) Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products and;
d) Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP)
Priority teaching or training field is agro-ecological transition of agricultural systems.
Specific thematics are : agroforestry - circular economy - social and solidarity economy – participatory approach – participatory guarantee systems – sustainability standards and - certification.
3. Eligibility Requirement for staff mobility:
Teaching Staff
a) Teaching assignments can come in various forms and take place as seminars, lectures and tutorials, for example. The minimum number of teaching hours is 8 hours for the duration of the mobility. Although e-mail tutoring or any other forms of distance learning as well as preparation are highly encouraged, they do not count in the minimum number of 8 hours of teaching.
b) Training course : Job shadowing and exchange of good practices or structured courses organised by L'Institut Agro
c) Carry out a combined mobility including teaching (4 hour minimum of teaching per week) and training Activities

4. Grant Information:
The grant for travel costs depends on the distance between the home institution of the applicant and the concerned L’Institut Agro Campus and is based on current costs, but limited to the maximum amounts in table 1.
