Staff Mobility under ERASMUS+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) @ Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey is now open for application. The information on the program can be found below.

1. What is ERASMUS+ Program?

ERASMUS+ is grant under the European Union (EU) programme for education, training, youth and sports. More information on the grant can be found here.

2. Grant Target Candidate:

UPM interested staff working in the fields of international cooperation, student/staff mobility (e.g. International Officers, Staff Responsible for Summer Schools, International Recruitment, Strategic Planning, International Career Offices, Erasmus+ KA1, KA2 & KA3 projects) and/or support services offered for international students (Accommodation, IT, Social Engagement Offices, if they work in a close contact with International Students).

*Please note that this program is mostly for administrative staff, but if teaching staff is also interested with such program, they may also apply.

4. Information about METU International Staff Week:

i. METU’s 6th International Staff Training Week (30th May-3rd June 2022)

ii. The event focuses on exchanging experiences, making assessments of the partnership, sharing best practices and learning from each other.

5. Application Period:

Staff Mobility Nomination initiated : 11 May 2022 (Wednesday)

Staff Mobility Application Deadline to i-PUTRA : 15 May 2022 (Sunday)

Staff Mobility Evaluation Period : 16 May 2022 (Monday)

Staff Mobility Application Deadline to METU : 17 May 2022 (Tuesday)

6. Application Procedure for Staff Mobility:

Candidate are required to submit the following documents to the mobility coordinator of their respective faculties for an internal evaluation. Candidates are required to submit the following documents through google form. Should you require assistance in filling in the forms, feel free to contact our officer, Ms. Ida Suhaila who can be reached via email at idasu@upm.edu.my

a) Passport details page.

b) Curriculum Vitae using the Europass Format {http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/).

c) Certificate of English Language Proficiency/ Letter of attestation from faculty regarding the participant’s English skills/Proof of English language proficiency (B2 or above)

d) Letter of Motivation/Statement of Purpose (maximum one page), explaining the reasons for the application, specific competences, academic interests, professional experience, commitment to return to the country of origin and benefits that the mobility grant will bring to the candidate and its context.

Only selected candidates’ application will be forwarded to the respective faculty at METU for further processing.
