Yogyakarta, 5, 6 July – University Gadjah Mada, Indonesia host 2nd Crossborder Conference for ADVANSE Network focusing on “Leveraging financial management in HEI towards world class university”. Global challenges and the fast development of technology has brought impact to the changing of educational paradigm since the conventional ways of education model might not be fit anymore. Higher Education Institutions needs to cope with the rapid change in order to be outstanding and meet the goals to provide high quality of education. Bureaucratic reformation that include reorganization, governance, human resources, and financial and asset systems are key factors to the change management of the HEIs. This conference is conducted to find out the proper policy for financial management, explore the potential funding and strategies to maximize the resources owned by the HEIs as well as managing international cooperation to enhance the international reputation of the HEIs.

UPM representatives were led by Mr. Zulkiflee Othman from BURSAR UPM accompanied by Dr Adilah Abd Razak from Faculty of Economics and Mrs Ida Suhaila Md Tahir from Putra International Centre (i-PUTRA).
