SERDANG, January 15. Putra International Centre (i-PUTRA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has received an official delegation visit from Daegu Catholic University (DCU), Republic of Korea today, to discuss cooperation opportunities with UPM. The visit was led by Mr. Song Doojin, Director of International Program Office of DCU together with him were two Program Managers, Ms. Cik Jang Suhyun and Ms. Kwon. Assoc. Prof Dr. Noritah Omar, Deputy Director of i-PUTRA, Dr. Masni Mat Yusoff, Lecturer from Faculty of Food Technology, Mdm Saliza Mustafa, Head of Division of i-PUTRA and Ms. Nadia Zawani from mobility section were attended the meeting also.
Deputy Director of i-PUTRA UPM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noritah Omar, hopes that more students from both universities will take advantage of this collaborative initiative. "I believe that with the cooperation between UPM and DCU, Korea, not only the number of students from Korea increase but also attracted more UPM students to study exchange programs in the Korea," she said.
It is hoped that this collaboration will attract more students both institutions to undergo student exchange programs (mobility and research) as well as various internationalization opportunities.
