International Exploration Week 2023

	Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) is one of Malaysia’s premium research universities with 158th in the QS World University Ranking 2023. An autonomous university with a student population of 29,000 and hosting 5,000 international full-time students coming from various countries on its two campuses in Serdang and Bintulu. As a prominent university in Malaysia with more than 200 international strategic partners, UPM continuously moving forward in propagating the Ministry of Higher Education Blue Print 2015-2025 and becoming a university with international repute. PUTRA International Centre (i-PUTRA) is one of UPM’s entities under the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International) who has been supporting university’s aspiration to propagate internationalisation agenda. Each year i-PUTRA manages more than 8,500 student visa and study applications that wish to come to UPM as full-time and mobility students. Offering various of services that focus on student’s needs and requirements in pursuing their studies, but also to offer international exposure to students through various activities such as mini cultural programmes and events. With the spirit of internationalisation at home, this year i-PUTRA is delighted to organise the first-ever large-scale event called the International Exploration Festival also known as InterXFest starting on 15th ,16th ,19th & 20th of October 2023. With the theme The Tapestry of Internationalisation; the program objective is to celebrate global cultures and at the same time to introduce Malaysian values to international communities.
