[CLOSED] ERASMUS+ Outbound Staff Mobility to Institut Agro Montpellier, France (KA171-HED Malaysia)

ERASMUS+ KA107 International Credit Mobility @ L'Institut Agro Montpellier is now open for application. The information on the program can be found below.

 

1.    What is ERASMUS+ Program?

ERASMUS+ is grant under the European Union (EU) programme for education, training, youth and sports. More information on the grant can be found here

 

2.    Grant Target Candidate:

UPM teaching or administrative staff to spend a teaching or training period at L’Institut Agro

Faculty members teaching or training in the following disciplines are prioritized to apply for the scholarship

a) Faculty of Agriculture

b) Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (ITAFoS)

c) Institute of Tropical Forestry and Forest Products (INTROP) and;

d) Institute of Plantation Studies (IKP)

Priority teaching or training field is agro-ecological transition of agricultural systems.

Specific thematics are : agroforestry - circular economy - social and solidarity economy – participatory approach – participatory guarantee systems – sustainability standards and - certification.

 

3. Project Duration: Between 1st January 2024 to 15th July 2024

 

4.   Eligibility Activities to be conducted under this program:

  • Teaching Course (Academician) : Teaching assignments can come in various forms and take place as seminars, lectures and tutorials, for example. The minimum number of teaching hours is 8 hours for the duration of the mobility. Although e-mail tutoring  or any other  forms of distance  learning as well as preparation  are highly encouraged, they do not count in the minimum number of 8 hours of teaching.
  • Training course (Non academician)  : Job shadowing  and  exchange  of good  practices  or  structured  courses organised by l'Institut Agro
  • Carry out a combined mobility including teaching (4h min of teaching per week) and training activities

 

5.   Selection Criteria

In strict accordance with the above-mentioned fields of teaching and/or training

  • Quality of the programme : teaching and other activities to be implemented during the stay (presentation/ promotion of the home institution, scientific and educational exchange with Institut Agro teams, development of shared projects…)
  • Added value and expected results of the mobility: strenghtening or creation of collaborations (e.g. structuring  of educational  exchanges, development  of projects,  joint supervision of thesis…)
  • Priority will be given to mobility linked to a cooperation project involving  l’ Institut Agro and other French partners in the country (e.g. CIRAD) (capacity building, training, higher education, etc.)

7.    Grant Information:

The grant for travel costs depends on the distance between the home institution of the applicant and the concerned L’Institut Agro Campus and is based on current costs, but limited to the maximum amounts in table 1.

Individual support covers stay costs during the mobility (accommodation, meals, local transportation, insurance…) based on current costs. Individual support is calculated according to the following items: number of mobility days, number of additional days before and after the mobility (maximum two extra days).

*till 14th day of mobility. From day 15 to 60, the daily amount is revised to 70% of this amount.
