SERDANG, 25 July 2023 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Institut Polytechnique des sciences avancées (IPSA) convened a virtual courtesy meeting on the 25th of July 2023 to discuss potential collaborations, with a focus on developing a Student Exchange Agreement. Chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syazwani Idrus, Deputy Director of PUTRA International Centre, the meeting brought together esteemed representatives from both institutions.

The event commenced with a warm welcome from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syazwani Idrus, followed by a presentation about UPM, showcasing the university's accomplishments and areas of expertise. IPSA's Emilie SOURIAU, Coordinator of International Relations, also presented valuable insights about their esteemed institution.

Faculty representatives from both UPM and IPSA participated, engaging in discussions on the possibility of developing a Student Exchange Agreement, with a particular emphasis on the departments of Aerospace Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.

The virtual courtesy meeting concluded on a positive note at 5:00 P.M., with both UPM and IPSA expressing their mutual interest in further exploring and formalizing the potential collaboration. The event marks a significant step towards fostering academic exchange and international cooperation, promising exciting opportunities for students and enriching the learning experience for both UPM and IPSA.
