I-PUTRA GO GREEN!

Plants are considered limited resources. If a lot of pressure is exerted on these natural resources, they might be depleted fast. The only way to dramatically stop the pressure applied to these resources is recycling.  This means recycling paper helps to reduce the number of trees cut. This, in turn, reduces the greenhouse effect as the trees absorb carbon dioxide in the air. By implementing the 5R, reduce, reuse, recycle, refuse, and restore, we can recycle papers.

Today's mark the 2nd time i-PUTRA taking the initiatives in gathering our non-confidential used papers for recycling effort in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals! We done our part in taking small action leads to bigger objectives. We will continue to recycle the papers as an on-going recycle initiative under Putra International Center. Magazines, pamphlets, flyers, and other colored papers are still recycleable.

If any students that are interested to recycle the paper including confidential copies (copy of passport, birth certificate and others) one may do so by coming to i-Putra and be part of i-Putra recycle initiative. Please make sure the papers are dry and clean. Any plastics covers, bindings, paper clips and metal clips should be removed before hand-in to i-Putra. We hope together with our students, we can make our planet better.
