6 September 2023, SERDANG - On September 6, 2023, PUTRA International Centre (i-PUTRA) welcomed the delegates from Hampton University and Asia Exchange to the sunny campus of UPM.

Representing the Hampton University was the Assistant Director of the International Office, Ms. Samaria Haysbert while the Asia Exchange Ltd were represented by Mr. Harri Suominen, CEO and Co-founder; Mr. Tuomas Kauppinen, CBO and Co-founder; and Ms. Haizel, International Student Coordinator. The courtesy meeting was also attended by the representative from the School of Economics and Management and the Faculty of Design and Architecture,

The primary objective of this visit was to strengthen connections between Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Hampton University through Asia Exchange, while also celebrating the remarkable 10-year partnership between Asia Exchange and UPM. Discussions also revolved around potential collaborations, particularly in the realms of short-term programs and educational tourism for Hampton University students.

Following the productive courtesy meeting, the Hampton University representatives were given an insightful tour of UPM's School of Business and Economics and the Faculty of Design and Architecture, offering them a firsthand experience of the academic and cultural richness of the university.

The courtesy visit concluded in the evening, marking another significant step in enhancing international educational ties and further solidifying the collaboration between UPM and Hampton University through Asia Exchange.
