Serdang, Malaysia - On the 4th of October, 2023, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) opened its doors to welcome Miss Pia Marie Larin, the Project Manager (Asia) representing ICAM, France, in pursuit of fostering international academic collaboration.

UPM's representatives included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eris Elianddy B. Supeni, Head of the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syazwani Idrus, Deputy Director of PUTRA International Centre (i-PUTRA), Madam Noraihan Noordin, Head of i-PUTRA, and Madam Ida Suhaila Md Tahir, Section Head of Global Engagement at i-PUTRA.

During the meeting, the parties engaged in discussions about prospective collaboration efforts, with a keen focus on the possibility of cooperation under the ERASMUS+ framework. This framework provides a robust platform for international educational exchanges and research partnerships, which can greatly enrich the academic experience for students and faculty members alike.

Additionally, the meeting explored opportunities to promote UPM's summer programs, offering an exciting array of courses and experiences for international students. This initiative aims to attract students from ICAM, France, and beyond to partake in the cultural and academic exchange UPM has to offer.
