SERDANG, 7 August 2020. On 7 August 2020, i-PUTRA has organized a small event to celebrate the completion of the mobility students who will be completing their Second semester 2019/2020 in UPM. The event was a closed event and was joined by 9 mobility students who remained in Malaysia during the MCO period. The event began at 3.00 p.m. The program was conducted in a modest atmosphere following the Standard Operating Procedure.

The ceremony was officiated by the Director of i-PUTRA, Professor Dr. Zainal Abidin Talib. In his opening speech, he congratulated the students who had completed their studies in UPM. He hoped that the students would be able to learn something meaningful while in Malaysia despite the COVID19 pandemic that's happening all around the globe.

"UPM is very excited and grateful to welcome and host the international students and we hope that you have learned something new during your stay in Malaysia even if you were not able to go anywhere due to the Movement Control Order (PKP)," he said in his speech.

The director of i-PUTRA presented the student with their certificate of completion along with some souvenirs during the certificate giving ceremony. The program continues with the dining session before it concluded at 5.00 p.m.

We hope that the students were able to immerse themselves fully in the Putra Experience program while bringing back meaningful memories throughout their stay in UPM and Malaysia.
