On September, UPM welcomed Dr Mohamed Fikry Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim to University Putra Malaysia for staff attachment from Benha University. He was greeted by Mr Razif Abdul Razak from Visa and Pass and Madam Ida Suhaila Md Tahir from Global Engagement.

His staff attachment commenced starting 29 September 2022 to 27 February 2023 at Halal Products Research Institute under supervision of Prof. Ir. Dr. Yusniza Yusof. The staff attachment objective is to develop research according to the timeline and milestone, write and publish high impact research and comply with research program by the institute.

Staff attachment is part of Universiti Putra Malaysia second strategic plan which is to Creating a Research and Innovation Hub that Generates Value Based on Sustainable Ecosystems and To be an institution that cultivates advanced research. The staff attachment align with Ministry of Higher education blueprint 2021-2025. “MoHE welcomes any proposal for cooperation in the field of higher education that will bring mutual benefit,” added by Datuk Seri Noraini Ahmad, Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia.

The staff attachment will enhance cooperation between two universities between Benha University and Universiti Putra Malaysia

We hope that Dr Mohamed Fikry Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim enjoy his staff attachment in Universiti Putra Malaysia and overall his one semester stay at Malaysia.
