As the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year wraps up, the PUTRA International Centre (i-PUTRA) and the UPM Buddies Association celebrated the International Mobility Students Farewell program. This special event honored 166 exchange students from various countries including Austria, Brunei, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, the Netherlands, and Pakistan, who have completed their semester at UPM.

The program not only marked the students' academic achievements but also highlighted the unforgettable experiences and friendships they formed during their time at UPM. Associate Professor Dr. Che Azurahanim Che Abdullah, Deputy Director of i-PUTRA, addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to cherish the memories and knowledge they acquired in Malaysia. She expressed her hope that UPM would hold a special place in their hearts as they consider future academic pursuits.

The evening featured heartfelt sharing sessions from two students. Ms. Pellard Nolwen from ISEN Brest, France, humorously noted, "I discovered that UPM is larger than the town I come from!" Meanwhile, Ms. Boning Wan Lisa from FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, Germany, reflected on the strong bonds she created with local students and shared, "I bought these reflexology sandals to remind myself that the first step is always the hardest."

The farewell event concluded with a vibrant performance by the UPM Buddies Association at 10:30 P.M., leaving everyone with lasting memories of a wonderful evening.
