On 3rd May 2022, an ISO workshops was conducted in Activity Room in iPutra. The objective of the workshop was to gain new knowledge and skill on ISO audit that will be held annually. It is a good skill to have as ISO applies to every industry. With ISO audit, our front end process will be more synchronized and efficient to cater for client needs.
In iPutra, there are four different sections which are administrative, Global Engagement, Mobility and finally Visa and Pass. Every one of the sections has a different process but we work together as our clients are mostly international students. ISO Workshop is an eye-opening to iPutra staff that we realize, a lot needs to be done such as documentation of our processes according to ISO clause.
We also get to learn niche processes that we have yet to document during our day-to-day process such as staff from the Mobility department should not reply to emails from the Visa department. We have also been given tasks in a group to learn more about ISO acronyms such as NCR (Non-Confirming), and OFI (Opportunity for Improvement) based on the case study given during the workshop. Indeed, ISO does foster our operation growth in iPutra for a more reliable and better quality of satisfying customer requirements in a continuous manner.
We would like to thank Mr Ridzuan for guiding us on the ISO audit during a day workshop. With ISO as our main guideline for our front-end and back-end processes, it will make our day-to-day process more seamless.
