Monday, 4 July 2022 - the i-PUTRA team which was led by Prof. Suhaimi Ab Rahman (Director) followed by Mrs Noraihan Noordin (Head), Mr Razif Abdul Razak (Head of Visa and Pass) and Ms Nadia Zawani Hussin (Head of Mobility) paid a visit to UPM’s Bintulu campus to discuss UPM's Internationalisation and EduTourism through mobility programme.

During the visit, the team took the opportunity to visit Prof. Dr. Shahrul Razid Sarbini, The UPMKB Campus Director to discuss more detail on the UPM mobility programmes also briefing on internationalization along with the campus mobility coordinators. The fruitful session has led to more opportunities and potential activities that can be undertaken to support the university's vision of becoming a university of international repute.

Ms Nadia Zawani Hussin, the Head of the Mobility Section added ‘that visiting UPMKB has aspire us to strive for excellence in our mobility coordination and encouraging international students to study here. Our priority is for every international student to experience not only in the east but also in the west peninsular of Malaysia. For that, UPM will position itself as a top university in Malaysia if not Southeast Asia. We hope more students will be interested in studying here.’ It is good to note that UPMKB has various programes namely Bachelor of Bioindustry, Bachelor of Forestry, Bachelor of Aquaculture, Bachelor of Chemical Industry, Diploma of Fisheries, Diploma of Computer Science and many more.

The team  were delighted to have a productive approach towards expanding the i-Putra activities and program as a whole.
