[CLOSED] PhD ERASMUS+ Grant in the Field of Agroecology @ L'Institut Agro, France [STUDENT] ERASMUS+ Grants for PhD students from Universiti Putra Malaysia to L’Institut Agro, France in the field of Agroecology

The Erasmus + programme allows students to carry out a mobility in another institution abroad in order to acquire new skills. The students remain enrolled in their home institution. This mobility is validated and recognised by the home institution as an integral part of the thesis.

1. What is ERASMUS+ Program?

      ERASMUS+ is a grant under the European Union (EU) programme for education, training, youth and sports.

2. Funding Awarded

Erasmus+ grants are intended to cover part of your mobility costs (subsitence costs and travel costs):

Duration: 

from 2 months to 12 months o

6-month mobility is preferred

- Training costs, registration fees and research costs are not covered by the Erasmus+ grant.

- A short stay to attend a conference or seminar is not eligible.

3. Grant Information:

• Allowances for Student Mobility : Maximum of 850 €/month
• Travel Costs: Maximum of 1500 €

4. Research Target Area the ERASMUS+ Program:

• Agro-ecological Transition of Agricultural Systems

5. Selection Criteria

• Relevance of the objectives of the mobility to the thesis project (/3 pts)
• Impact of the mobility on the doctoral student and motivation (/3pts)
• Impact of the mobility on the home research unit (/2 pts)
• Quality of the planned organisation and contacts with the host unit (2pts)

6. Specific Research Topic:

• Agroforestry.
• Circular Economy
• Social and Solidarity Economy
• Participatory approach
• Participatory Guarantee Systems
• Sustainability standards and certification

7. Program Duration:

• 12 Months (Mobility program must be completed by 30/06/2025)

8. Application Period:

• Application Deadline to L'Institut Agro : 30/11/2023 (Thursday)

• Candidates will be evaluated by the host university upon application submission. Please take note that application submission does not guarantee a scholarship to be granted to the candidates.
