STRENGTHEN NETWORKING THROUGH MOBILITY PROGRAM

November 2nd, 2021, i-PUTRA has taken another initiative to host a meeting with UPM partner Kanda University of International Studies or KUIS who has signed a MoA since 2019. The objective of the meeting is to promote i-UPM’s mobility program and discussing on the preparation to receive students from KUIS beginning next year tentatively once the border is re-open for mobility students.

The 2 hours fruitful meeting was attended by KUIS Global Engagement & Partnership Division Head, Mr. Toru Ichikawa and his team Ms. Ayaka Makita, Mr. Tetsuya Shimozaki, and Mr. Takakuni Nemoto; and session was chaired by Prof Ir. Dr. Hasfalina Che Man the Deputy Director and attended by Mrs. Ida Suhaila Md Tahir the Head of Global Engagement and Ms. Nadia Zawani Hussin the Head of Mobility. In the session, Prof. Hasfalina gave a brief on the university's strengths and highlights on its achievement and followed by Ms. Nadia on Mobility program opportunities offered.

Despite the COVID-19 challenges, i-PUTRA believes it’s important to have a continuous active partnership with the right direction to forge synergy between two institutions although the situation has restricted some of the previous initiatives.
