In a bid to foster stronger connections within the i-PUTRA community and its extended family, an engaging and delightful BBQ event was organized by the Kelab Kebajikan Warga i-PUTRA (KKWiP). This initiative aimed not only to celebrate the triumph of the International Exploration Festival but also to unite the i-PUTRA team members and their families in a cheerful setting.

The event, held against the backdrop of the recent successful festival conducted from 15th to 20th October 2023, was planned to infuse camaraderie among the members and their loved ones. As the evening unfolded, the preparations for the BBQ commenced with each division contributing to an array of mouthwatering dishes. From the savory Butter Fried Rice to the sizzling delights of Chicken and Mutton BBQ, the menu catered to diverse palates. Complementing these savory treats were refreshing Salad, Fruit Salad, Cendol, Cream Puff, and the indulgent Chocolate-covered-chocolate, ensuring there was something for everyone.

Kicking off the proceedings was a Congregational Maghrib Prayer led by Mr. Amirul Afifi, fostering a sense of unity and spiritual togetherness among the attendees. Following this, a recital of Yassin was led by Mr. Hadry, adding a solemn touch to the evening's ambiance.

The event's official commencement unfolded with an uplifting opening speech by the deputy director of i-PUTRA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syazwani Idrus. Dr. Idrus conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to the organizing committee for orchestrating such a heartwarming event, emphasizing the significance of familial bonds within the i-PUTRA community. Subsequently, Madam Fadhilah Ishak, the club president of KKWiP, extended gratitude to the i-PUTRA members and their families for gracing the occasion. Despite the absence of the i-PUTRA director due to pressing family commitments, his warm regards were conveyed to the team and their loved ones.

The heart of the event lay in its purpose—to forge stronger connections and bring the i-PUTRA family closer. It aimed to transcend professional boundaries and create an atmosphere where personal connections flourished. The laughter, conversations, and shared moments were testaments to the success of the program in fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.

Ultimately, the BBQ event served as a beacon of togetherness, reinforcing the ethos of family within the i-PUTRA community. Through such initiatives, the organization not only celebrates success but also cherishes the bonds that tie its members together, nurturing a harmonious and supportive environment for all.
