TOP 5 ISLAND TO VISIT IN MALAYSIA

1.   Pulau Redang

 

Pulau Redang is located in east coast Malaysia, Terengganu. It is the largest island in the peninsular with variety of marine species such as the famous Nemo, baby sharks and jellyfishes. Plentiful of activities for visitor to do such as snorkeling, scuba diving, jungle trekking and fish feeding. Beware of the monsoon season as it will rain and high tide everyday. The best season to visit is between April to October.

 

2.    Pulau Kapas

 

Pulau Kapas if direct translated to English means Cotton Island, a name that were given by the locals due to its soft, cotton-like sands. The best season to visit is during June to September. Pulau Kapas is conveniently located in Terengganu. If you have the time and finance, why not continue the island hoping from Pulau Redang to Pulau Kapas. Some activities that you can do such as relaxing beside the beach, watching the sunset, and pamper yourself with spa treatment.

 

3.    Pulau Tioman

 

Pulau Tioman is considered one of a many beautiful island in Malaysia that is affordable to visit. Pulau Tioman is the hotspot for snorkeling and scuba diving due to its crystal blue color. The best season to visit is between May to August.

 

4.    Pulau Langkawi

 

Pulau Langkawi is popular among Malaysians due to it is a duty-free island. The activities on this island are endless including shopping, jungle trekking, cable car, hiking, scuba diving, snorkeling, island hopping, flying-fox and many others. The Skybridge in Langkawi is must go for all the visitors as it is instagrammable and TikTok hotspot for content. Best time to visit is between the month of January and March.

 

5.   Pulau Rawa

 

The island is conveniently located in Mersing, near Singapore. Pulau Rawa is a small island and ‘Rawa’ is local term for doves. Only few walkways in Rawa and no road facilities on the island. The only way to get to the island is by a boat from Mersing. The best times to go is from the month of April to October.
