30th June 2021, Putra International Centre (i-PUTRA) has hosted a virtual online meeting with Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU) Dammam, Saudi Arabia and also inviting School of Business and Economic (SPE) UPM in expanding our networking in United Arab Emirates region.
The fruitful meeting discussing on future collaboration between i-PUTRA, SPE and IAU through mobility programmes by exploring potentials and opportunities in having MoU. The meeting was attended by both parties at 4:30pm (+8 GMT) via Zoom platform and chaired by i-PUTRA Director, Prof. Dr. Suhaimi Ab Rahman and joined by Associate Professor Dr. Norashidah Mohamed Nor, the Deputy Dean of Undergraduate and Alumni (SPE) to further discuss with IAU counterpart at the College of Business is Dr. Faisal Al Hudithi, The Dean and Dr. Adnan Ahmed Latif whom an assistant professor.

Also attending the meeting is Dr. Nur Syazwani Mazlan, a lecturer and SPE Mobility Coordinator with Madam Dalina Kamaruddin, Madam Noraihan Nordin, The Head of Administration (i-PUTRA), Madam Ida Suhaila Mat Tahir, The Head of Global Engagement and Ms. Nadia Zawani Hussin, The Head of Mobility.
IAU’s begin its humble beginning in 1975 with two pioneering colleges, the College of Medicine and the College of Architecture. Almost four decades later this academic institution has grown into a leading research university with 21 colleges spread throughout the Eastern Province and a student population of over 45,000. Now it is one of the leading universities and thriving to become one of the best universities in the Kingdom.
